Cabuyao Water District (CABWAD) is the government’s water service provider in the City of Cabuyao. It operates under the supervision of the Local Water Utilities Administration and strictly adheres to the provisions and guidelines of Presidential Decree 198 also known as the “Provincial Water Utilities Act of 1973.”
CABWAD was formed in 1996 through Municipal Resolution No. 657-96 and was given the Certificate of Conditional Conformance by the Local Water Utilities Administration in 2003.
CABWAD provides potable, clean and affordable water to all 18 barangays of the City of Cabuyao including industrial and commercial establishments. It’s main pumping stations are located in Brgy. Banay-banay, Brgy. Mamatid, Brgy. Uno, Brgy. Bigaa, Brgy. Banlic, Brgy. Diezmo, Brgy. Pittland, and Brgy. Casile. Matang Tubig natural spring situated in Brgy. Casile is scheduled to be utilized by the year 2015 to further boost CABWAD’s water supply capability.
CABWAD is classified as a “Category C” water district with more than 13,000 active service connections as of June 30, 2017.
